HELEN MARLAIS PIANO WORKSHOP

Just a reminder that The Music Box will be hosting a Helen Marlais Workshop on Monday, August 16.  Please mark you calendars!  Helen will be presenting "Succeeding at the Piano -- a Method for Everyone!".  She has combined her joy-filled and pedagogically sound approach to teaching with top pedagogical composers and time-tested classics.  Come experience this exceptional new piano method along with the newest publications from Dr. Marliais' award winning FJH Pianist Curriculum series.  Registration information will be available in the coming months.  If you have any questions, please contact Jan at The Music Box at 303-756-9461.  We look forward to seeing you in August!

NEWS ON PIANO ADVENTURE PUBLICATIONS

We would like to remind you know that we now have in stock the Piano Adventures Popular Repetoire in the Accelerated Book Two, as well as all lower levels.  In addition to having Playtime Popular, we now have the Pretime level, with other levels to be in stock by June.  We thank you for your patience during this transition.  Please continue to let us know which items we are missing and that you need for your students by filling out a special order card at the check out counter.   We will communicate with Hal Leonard and notify you about due date status.  Thank you!

NEW IN THE POP MUSIC DEPARTMENT

PIANO, CELLO AND GUITAR TEACHER POSITIONS AVAILABLE

The Music Box is currently seeking a piano, cello and a guitar teacher to teach in our studios.  We offer eligibility for our teacher referral list, a generous discount on all music, and pleasant working conditions.  You may set your own rates and choose your working hours within the store's framework.  Applicants must possess competency in piano/guitar theory, methods and performance, previous teaching experience, an existing student base (no minimum number), and be able to teach evenings and weekends.  Guitar teacher must be able to teach kids from 5 years old and up.  If this sounds like a fit for you, please contact Steve Rose at 303-756-9461.  We hope to hear from you soon!
