The Music Box carries instruments designed for the beginning students as well as "step-up" instruments for the advancing musician.
Band/Orchestra Rental Purchase Plan
TMB carries American and European made "educator-recommended" instruments. Brands we stock include Gemeinhardt, Holton, Vito, Conn, Artley, and King woodwind and brass instruments, Ludwig and Vic Firth percussion instruments, and Lewis (with some Suzuki) string instruments.

We stock all sizes of orchestra instruments including: violins (1/16-4/4), violas (12"-16 ½"), and cellos (1/4-4/4).
Three FREE private half-hour lessons (a $75-$90 value)!
Three free lessons are included with each instrument rental or purchase. These lessons are the perfect way to complement the group lessons or classes the student is receiving at school. They are also recommended for the older beginner or more proficient student who desires to learn and improve or needs to be challenged.
A portion of all rent applies to purchase!
There is no interest or carrying charge.
Instruments may be purchased or returned at any time!
After an initial rental period of three months, you may purchase or return whenever you wish.
We offer an early purchase discount!
An early purchase discount of 10% off the remaining balance is given for the purchase of the instrument AT ANY TIME during the life of the rental purchase agreement.
We have flexible instrument exchange privileges!
These exchange privileges exist for the player who desires or needs a newer, larger, step-up, or completely different instrument. Part or all of the payments made on the first instrument will apply toward the second instrument.
New instrument warranty given on all instruments!
This warranty is given on both our new AND used instruments and protects against any defects in materials and workmanship for ONE FULL YEAR from the initial date of rental.
Free use of a folding metal music stand!
This music stand is provided with each rental and is given FREE with the final purchase payment on the rental instrument. This is our way of thanking you.
Maintenance/Repair coverage is available!
This coverage is available for the FULL TERM of the rental purchase agreement.
TMB offers FREE loaner instruments!
When available, all rental purchase agreement customers are provided with free loaner instruments for use during repairs as long as they own or rent that instrument.
In addition to the features mentioned above, TMB also allows you to buy an instrument outright without leasing first. When you do this, you will receive a 20% DISCOUNT off the regular lease price! Any new or used instrument purchased outright receives the same free lessons, exchange privileges, new instrument warranty, free music stand, and loaner instrument benefits, plus the 20% discount. However, although it can be exchanged for another instrument, once purchased, it cannot be returned if no longer being used.
New and used "step-up" instruments are available on the same rental purchase plan and receive the same benefits as listed above. The monthly rental rates may be somewhat higher and the minimum initial monthly rental will be slightly longer due to the higher cost of these instruments. Acoustic Guitar Short-Term Rental Purchase Plan
 TMB stocks acoustic steel and various-sized nylon stringed guitars as well as the popular acoustic/electric models. Our nylon stringed guitars range in sizes from ¼ to full size to accommodate any musician, young or old. Our guitars are mostly in the $175-$600 price range. We stock guitars from high-quality lines including Ibanez, Takemine, and Strunal.

These free lessons are included with each guitar rental or purchase. Beginning to advanced acoustic, electric, and bass guitar students are welcome, from 5 years of age to adults. Styles taught include simple chording, finger picking, rock, blues, country, jazz, classical, Spanish guitar, and flamenco.

The second month is FREE!
The rental purchase agreement is completed in three equal payments and can be applied to guitars in any price category.
Guitars may be purchased or returned at any time!
After an initial rental period of one month, you may purchase or return the guitar whenever you wish.

An early purchase discount of 10% off the remaining balance is given for the purchase of the guitar AT ANY TIME during the life of the rental purchase agreement.
We have flexible guitar exchange privileges!
An exchange privilege of 100% is given for the first 30 days as long as the guitar is still in the same condition as when received. Anytime thereafter (no time limit) it may be exchanged for any other guitar of equal or greater value for 50% credit as long as the guitar shows just normal wear and tear.
Our guitars are guaranteed for one year!
TMB guarantees our guitars against any defects in materials and workmanship for ONE YEAR from the initial date of rental or purchase.
We require a guitar case or bag for all rental guitars.
This ensures adequate protection for the rental guitar. This can be included in the rental purchase agreement or purchased outright.
In addition to the features mentioned above, TMB also allows you to buy a guitar without leasing it first. When you do this, you will receive a 10% DISCOUNT off the regular lease price! Any new or used guitar purchased outright receives the same free lessons, exchange privilege, and new guitar warranty as listed above, plus the 10% discount. However, although it can be exchanged for another guitar, once purchased, it cannot be returned if no longer being used.
